18th Teddy Bear [MEGA-SUPA-ACTION/Video]

[Okay, so the last time she was on-air, it was depressing as hell. But now? After reassurances from so many people? Elicia just can't let her mama down. She can be sad, yes—lots of people said it was okay to cry or be sad when you really are. But after that, she just had to make sure that Gracia would be up-to-speed whenever she did come back. That said, she now has (must to many people's dismay, probably) a pink camera with flowers on it hanging around her neck.

If she knows you and you happen to be passing by the school or her apartment, she may just jump out and take a picture of you! >8^D

If she knows you, be prepared. She will get you. Do not doubt her.
Because she is a wonderful photographer like that.

CR who knows her papa well enough for Hughes to trust them with his daughter (such a small list, sob)? Be prepared for a visit sooner or later this week! She is totally visiting everyone and just enjoying the hell out of company—it keeps her occupied, and the sting of her mother's absence is far easier to ignore among friends. Winry? Let's have a sleepover. A nice, girly sleepover, with hair products and scary stories and sugar. Nami, she wants to come over for a tea party. Or maybe a chocolate milk party. WHAT SAY YOU?

And then when that's all said and done, it'll be time for the usual video post:]

Hi, guys! I hope everyone's feeling good today!

I got a big question, 'cause I've been thinking a lot and I reaaally wanna know! What's a really happy day you had here in Luceti? A really happy day where you were just real, real happy! One you won't never ever forget!

[...one more little question. For now.]

O-oh... and, um... I was wondering—where are the pictures on movies? How does a funny disc have sound and pictures on it...?

Except for a cough, I'm right as rain. I promise. [He does sound very hoarse.]
simplestgift: (I need a hug.)

They visited and made me soup. It was like being royalty. [A pause, some coughing, then he continues as normal.] I suppose your papa does that when you're sick, doesn't he?

[He remembers that she said her father was in the military and supposes that was the reason for his absence.] Did she make you soup?

There's nothing better for you.

[A pause.]

For the future, little Boots, don't allow a man named Jack to feed you anything while you're sick. It's best if you don't ask why.

[Here's why: salamander juice.]

[UNCLE JACK?] Let's just say he has some...strange ideas when it comes to what's good for someone who's sick.
simplestgift: (Amused but not too amused)

[personal profile] simplestgift 2011-02-14 03:42 pm (UTC)(link)
That's a wise idea, Boots.
simplestgift: (Hyep.)

[personal profile] simplestgift 2011-02-16 06:34 am (UTC)(link)
That is precisely the sort of advice your Uncle Jack needs. Er. Do you know Uncle Jack's last name?
simplestgift: (sidelong sarcastic)

[personal profile] simplestgift 2011-02-16 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
I'm only curious. Does he have long matted hair and a braided beard?
simplestgift: (Default)

[personal profile] simplestgift 2011-02-16 07:25 am (UTC)(link)
Then yes, advise him all you like. He could use your superior wisdom.
simplestgift: (proud smile)

[personal profile] simplestgift 2011-02-17 03:58 pm (UTC)(link)
It means better. You're wiser than he is, is what I'm saying.
simplestgift: (Total innocence)

[personal profile] simplestgift 2011-02-18 08:49 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, but Uncle Jack doesn't count.
simplestgift: (Concerned or thoughtful)

[personal profile] simplestgift 2011-02-19 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
Nonono, that's not it at all. I think you'll better understand when you're older, but for now, just remember that Uncle Jack counts more as one of the children than as an adult.
simplestgift: (not history that concerns me)

[Now, how on Earth did the girl learn his name? Well...he supposes it's on the journals somewhere. After a moment of surprise, he clears his throat. Well. Now he can't troll the girl anonymously.]

Yes, little Boots. He didn't go to school. I suppose girls go to school where you come from, don't they?
