1st Teddy Bear [Text...?]

[A New Feather is currently hiding out in an old hollowed out log in the forest, cold and very upset. After all, it's not everyday that someone ends up in some strange new place! And with the angel wings on her back, she can't help but wonder what the heck just happened. After a very tiring hike through a very big forest (to a five-year-old, at least), she'd decided to stop and, uh, wait for help. Because people would definitely come for her! And she shouldn't be afraid while she waited, because she was a big girl.

Besides, mama says when you're upset or worried, just do what you really enjoy doing... A-and she did have a cool new book...

[ And along trots Al, as fast as his legs can carry him. This week's going to be a hectic one, between Winry and the arrivals and now Elicia being here. He spots the two and waves them down. ]

[She's about to completely agree with Longshot, but a voice in the distance made her stop and pull his cape close--ah, but that voice is familiar, and the fact is definitely Alphonse's!]

[She runs toward him her arms out under the cape to jump at his legs.]

[Elicia is a special child, she's been around for barely an hour and she already has several search parties looking for her. Keiichi is a bit off from their location though, but his voice should reach them.]

[ He picks her up immediately and holds her. Oh, goodness, she's safe and he can breathe again. He looks to the caped boy and smiles a little. ]

Thanks for walking her out of the forest. It might have been a while before I could have found her.

[ He turns his head to the voice. He's pretty sure he knows it. ]

[She clings like a freezing little spider-monkey, and smiles into Alphonse's shirt.] Al, Al!! You came to get me! Longshot was really nice to me and helped, too...

[Keiichi doesn't really have anything personal against forests, but at some times he just hates them. Like now, and for their habit of being in the way when he's searching desperately for little girls. Why can't they ever get lost in a nice empty area where it's easy to spot them from a mile away?

Eventually he does make his way to where the group is. Eyes quickly focusing on the child in Al's arms.]

Elicia! Thank God you're well.

[Let him sigh in relief, okay? He almost got a heart attack when she closed the journal on him.]

[Then he does a double take and notices that she's not alone. In fact there are two people there already, Al, whom he knows from the Brigade, and a guy he doesn't know.]

[Until Keiichi arrives, the only movement from Longshot are minor as he keeps his head turned in the direction of the noise - there's a glance back at him followed by a nod. If he weren't waiting to see who the other person is, he'd probably smile at Elicia's comment.

His posture loosens significantly once Keiichi shows up; the other boy doesn't appear to be a threat. Both he and Al should be able to see for themselves that Elicia is just fine, save for being cold and wet. Longshot hopes she doesn't get a cold.]

[ He sighs out the breath he was holding when he sees Keiichi. Okay, that's why he knew it. He smiles awkwardly. He hates when he forgets. ]

Oh, Keiichi! Don't worry. I know her from home. She's okay. Longshot took care of her.

[ He grins a little at the silent boy and pats Elicia on the back. ]

We should get you inside and change your clothes.

Hi, Keiichi~!

[What a surprise, meeting you in the forest, too.]

But wait, Alphonse!

[She squirms a little to show she needs to be let down, and then rushes quickly over to Longshot, holding up the hat and the cape all together.]

[Keiichi smiles, well, it's better this way. He really isn't in a position to do much for the girl by himself anyway.]

I didn't know you knew... [Wait, "he was put in the ground", let's not mention Hughes for now.] her parents too, Al. I was going to just leave her with Winry at most.

[Which basically meant leaving her with Al too but it's not as if Keiichi knows with whom did she live after all. He smiles at the silent man and bows to show gratitude.]

Thank you for taking care of [my adoptive little sister] Elicia, Longshot-san.

[He eyes the child, checking that she has all her tiny parts attached and no wounds.]

More than a change of clothes maybe you should give her a warm bath so she regains temperature faster... And some hot cocoa to drink. That should help to avoid her catch a cold, right?

[Longshot raises an eyebrow at the bow, a little surprised at the display, but bows his head in turn. This child sure is well-loved.

Blink - speaking of her. Elicia gets the smallest smirk when she brings his things back to him. He pats her head once as he takes them back, donning his hat, but not putting on the cape just yet.

The other boys, he knows, will have the situation taken care of from here, and he doesn't have much left to contribute. After listening to the discussion for another second and confirming that, he decides to take his leave. There's a nod to Keiichi, and a brief wave to Elicia and Al, and then he turns to go.]
