1st Teddy Bear [Text...?]

[A New Feather is currently hiding out in an old hollowed out log in the forest, cold and very upset. After all, it's not everyday that someone ends up in some strange new place! And with the angel wings on her back, she can't help but wonder what the heck just happened. After a very tiring hike through a very big forest (to a five-year-old, at least), she'd decided to stop and, uh, wait for help. Because people would definitely come for her! And she shouldn't be afraid while she waited, because she was a big girl.

Besides, mama says when you're upset or worried, just do what you really enjoy doing... A-and she did have a cool new book...

If you happen to look in yours, you may notice some very wonderful artwork spamming your pages, looking a little something like this:]

[That manages to wipe off the sad look on his face at least, leaving nothing more than his usual expression ~~for he is the master of linefaces~~. He shakes his head again.]

[She pats his forearm like an understanding counselor. It's a tough world out there for missing-parent-kids...]

That's okay. My papa's gone... but when we find mama I'll ask if I can share her. She's really nice, and she'll make us pies, and she'll read books to us...

[ooc: I'm still not entirely sure which one of the two is more mature, her or Kamina? :|a]

[And such a disturbing number of such children does Luceti have... He manages a small smile at that, though it soon turns to a frown. Spirits, he does not want to have to be the one to explain to Elicia that her mom might not be here. @__@]

[E-Eek. He just didn't know if she'd heard her on the journals or something, is all. >.>]

Lots of people go in the village, so she might be there...

[He nods, then reaches down to tap her journal, as if to ask if she's talked to anyone with it.]

It's a pretty cool book—oh, is it okay getting wet?—and you can talk to lots of people on it... I talked to someone who knew my papa, too! His name was...

...waaaas...

And a lady named Sheena!! They were really nice to me.

[He nods to the question - his has always done fine in the rain anyways - then raises his head when she mentions someone knowing her father. Again he can't help but think this little girl looks familiar, but if someone knows her father, chances are there are people here that know her.]

There's a lot of nice people here. [...And some who aren't so nice. He'll keep an ear out to make sure she doesn't end up talking to those.] Why don't you try talking to them some more? There might be some other people who know your dad.

[ooc: I guess I will pop in, tell me if it's not okay yet? ]

[ And along trots Al, as fast as his legs can carry him. This week's going to be a hectic one, between Winry and the arrivals and now Elicia being here. He spots the two and waves them down. ]

Elicia!

[She's about to completely agree with Longshot, but a voice in the distance made her stop and pull his cape close--ah, but that voice is familiar, and the fact is definitely Alphonse's!]

Al! Al, Al!!

[She runs toward him her arms out under the cape to jump at his legs.]

[ooc: Hope this is okay T_T.]

[Elicia is a special child, she's been around for barely an hour and she already has several search parties looking for her. Keiichi is a bit off from their location though, but his voice should reach them.]

ELICIA!!! ELICIA HUGHES!! Where are you?!! Answer me, please!

[OOC: 'Tis fine~]

[...Well he guesses that answers that question then. He's glad there really is someone here that knows her though.

Longshot's just going to be standing over here then, though he cocks his head in the direction of Keiichi's voice.]

[ He picks her up immediately and holds her. Oh, goodness, she's safe and he can breathe again. He looks to the caped boy and smiles a little. ]

Thanks for walking her out of the forest. It might have been a while before I could have found her.

[ He turns his head to the voice. He's pretty sure he knows it. ]

[She clings like a freezing little spider-monkey, and smiles into Alphonse's shirt.] Al, Al!! You came to get me! Longshot was really nice to me and helped, too...

[She perks over Alphonse's shoulder at the voice. Funny, Alphonse, she recollects it from an earlier conversation, herself.]

[Keiichi doesn't really have anything personal against forests, but at some times he just hates them. Like now, and for their habit of being in the way when he's searching desperately for little girls. Why can't they ever get lost in a nice empty area where it's easy to spot them from a mile away?

Eventually he does make his way to where the group is. Eyes quickly focusing on the child in Al's arms.]

Elicia! Thank God you're well.

[Let him sigh in relief, okay? He almost got a heart attack when she closed the journal on him.]

[Then he does a double take and notices that she's not alone. In fact there are two people there already, Al, whom he knows from the Brigade, and a guy he doesn't know.]

Oh... Guess I didn't have to worry after all?

[Until Keiichi arrives, the only movement from Longshot are minor as he keeps his head turned in the direction of the noise - there's a glance back at him followed by a nod. If he weren't waiting to see who the other person is, he'd probably smile at Elicia's comment.

His posture loosens significantly once Keiichi shows up; the other boy doesn't appear to be a threat. Both he and Al should be able to see for themselves that Elicia is just fine, save for being cold and wet. Longshot hopes she doesn't get a cold.]

[ He sighs out the breath he was holding when he sees Keiichi. Okay, that's why he knew it. He smiles awkwardly. He hates when he forgets. ]

Oh, Keiichi! Don't worry. I know her from home. She's okay. Longshot took care of her.

[ He grins a little at the silent boy and pats Elicia on the back. ]

We should get you inside and change your clothes.
